Australia beat India to win the 50-over World Cup in India. This cricket festival which started on 5th of last month and was held for 7 weeks ended on Sunday. In this, the Australian team won the 50 over World Cup for the 6th time.
It gave a big disappointment to the Indian fans who were expecting the Indian team to win. After this, many people are posting about the defeat of the Indian team on social media.
In this case, Vini Raman, the wife of Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, is a native of Tamil Nadu. Viniraman posted on his Instagram page that Australia had won. Seeing this, many Indian fans sent him nasty messages.
Vini Raman said that in response to this, I should support not only India but also my husband’s team.
In response to this, he posted, ‘I can’t believe I feel the need to say this. As an Indian, while supporting the country where you were born and brought up, it is important to support the team that your husband, who is the father of your child, is playing for. Stop talking like this and direct your anger towards the important issues happening in the world.’
