Police registered a case against 14 CPIM and DYFI workers in the incident of beating up Youth Congress workers. A case was registered by the Pashyangadi police for attacking the black flag protestors.

CPIM State Secretary MV Govindan responded that the Youth Congress acted as a suicide squad and there is no need to condemn it. It was a planned attack on the part of Youth Congress last day. CPIM is not ready for any encroachment. This is a conspiracy by the Congress to divert the focus of the programme. He clarified that CPIM will not support any kind of violence.
CPIM leader MV Jayarajan alleged that a gang of murderers had come to protest against the Navakerala Sadas and attacked them with stones. Violence is condemnable. Congressmen are the ones who add poison to the stew. It is necessary to identify such poisonous seeds. He clarified that the organizers should not fall into provocation and that even if they hit here, they should not hit there.
Minister P said that the Youth Congress is a planned attempt to create riots and people should ignore the protest against Nawa Kerala. Rajeev responded. If the opposition had cooperated, the leader of the opposition would have had an important place in the inauguration ceremony. He said that the opposition has deprived the people of the opportunity to voice their criticism and disagreement.
