Jammikunta recorded the highest temperature in the state at 45.6 degrees Celsius, while Manthani recorded 45.2 degrees Celsius, Veenawanka 45.1 degrees Celsius, Velgatoor 45.1 degrees Celsius, Kolwai 45.1 degrees Celsius and Allipur 45 degrees Celsius during the day. Martanapet recorded a maximum temperature of 44.8 degrees Celsius while in all the districts the minimum night temperature crossed 33.9 degrees Celsius and the people are suffering from extreme heat during the day and night. Compared to last year, the temperature has increased by 5 to 8 degrees in April this time. Dr. G. Srinivas, ADR, Jagityala Research Center, said that the maximum daytime temperatures in the next four days will be recorded at an average of 42-47 degrees Celsius. Minimum temperatures will be between 27-32 degrees Celsius and air humidity will be between 24-61 percent. It is explained that there is a forecast of light rain here and there.

Ten people died of sunburn

Along with record temperatures (High Temperatures) there is intensity of hail. Migrant worker Shankar Sada (33) died of sunstroke in Acchannapally of Vemulawada mandal. Shankar Sada, a native of Bihar, works as a porter at a grain buying center in Acchannapally. Two days ago in Vilochanapuram of Manthani Mandal, laborer Lakshmi and weaver Eagaraju from Sirisil lost their lives due to heat stroke. Since April first, ten people have lost their lives due to heatstroke in the combined Karimnagar district. Many fell ill and were hospitalized. If this happens in the last week of April, people are worried about what will happen in the month of May.

High alert..

People are suffocating due to high temperatures on one side and heat waves on the other. The authorities were alerted and declared a high alert as they fell ill due to sunstroke and lost their lives. The officials of the medical and health department have asked that no one should come out during the day. No one is advised to come out unnecessarily unless it is an emergency. Those going out are advised to take proper precautions. Since the heat is severe from ten in the morning to five in the evening, they want to finish the work outside before that. Even those who campaign during the election are asked to campaign in the morning and evening. He said that ORS packets have been made available in health centers to drink water regularly to avoid dehydration.
