AP Elections 2024: May 1 holiday.. but distribution of pensions

However, it has been clarified in the order that the pension should be distributed at home to those who do not have bank accounts, the disabled and the sick before May 5. Whereas earlier the distribution of pension cash by volunteers is mandatory.

May 1st is Mayday. That day is a bank holiday. In such situations, there is a doubt as to how the pensions will be deposited in the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. Polling for Lok Sabha and Assembly elections will be held on May 13. There is also a debate that the government has taken this decision to put people in the basket.

YCP President and Chief Minister YS Jagan has been announcing in various meetings that they have already deposited cash directly into the accounts of the beneficiaries in the name of welfare schemes. At the time of the election, there is a discussion that this government has taken steps to ensure that the money goes into the accounts of the beneficiaries without any delay.
