Only America Can Stop Israel’s Attack on Raba – Palestinian President Speech

Riyadh:

Israel’s war against Hamas in Gaza has been going on for 7 months. More than 34 thousand people died in Gaza in this attack. Israel, which has taken control of most of Gaza, is threatening to launch a full-scale assault on the southern city of Raba as its final target.

Hundreds of thousands of people who have taken refuge in Rabaa fear an Israeli attack and have nowhere else to flee. It is feared that an attack on Raba would result in high casualties.

In the meantime, the countries of the world have urged both sides to sign a cease-fire agreement. Pressure has increased for a deal to release some Israeli hostages in particular. Therefore, Qatar, the mediator, has urged both sides to show interest in the ceasefire talks.

In this case, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has said that only America can stop Israel’s attack on Raba.

Mahmoud Abbas spoke at a special meeting of the World Economic Forum held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia:-

We urge the US to talk to Israel not to launch an attack on Raba. Only America can prevent Israel from committing this crime.

Even a small attack on Rabah would force the Palestinian people to leave Gaza. If that happens, it will be the greatest catastrophe in the history of the Palestinian people.

I do not agree with Palestinians moving to Jordan and Egypt. And there is concern that once Israel ends its military operations in Gaza, it will try to force Palestinians out of the West Bank and into Jordan.
