Nia Ranjith is an actress who has appeared in about 25 serials in Malayalam and Tamil. Malayalees are more familiar with the name Kalyani than the name Nia. Tamils also have musk. In Malayalam, Nia gained attention with serials like ‘Mithunam’, ‘Amma’ and ‘Karuthamuth’. The serial ‘Kasturi’ in Tamil also got a lot of attention. Nia has also acted in movies like Best Friends and Malayali.
After taking a break from acting, Kalyani has been living in London with her husband and children for four years. But now, Nia says that she is leaving London and wants to be active in acting.
“I have been wanting to go back to my country for a long time. It is a very peaceful life here. But I always have the thought that I am a working person. I am very afraid of being confined as a housewife. I have told Ranjith that many times. All I know is to act or do a cookery show. If you look for another job here, you can get it, but I don’t know if you will find happiness.”
“I don’t know if I can leave the babies and go for serial shooting and so on. I want to do it if I get serials or movies in Ernakulam. Ranjith will be in London, he will come to get us now and then go back,” Nia said in a video shared on her YouTube channel.
