Jyothika, a leading actress in the Tamil film industry, is currently acting in the movie ‘Kadal The Core’ with actor Mammootty. Produced by Mammootty Company, this film is directed by Jio Baby, who directed the Malayalam super hit ‘The Great Indian Kitchen’.
The shooting of Kaadhal The Core was completed in November last year and was expected to release on OTT in December. But the film team announced last month that the film ‘Kadal The Core’ will be released in theaters on 23rd. Recently, the trailer of the film was released and it caught the attention of the fans.
However, it has been reported that Qatar and Kuwait have banned the release of this film due to its content promoting homosexuality. Rumors leaked that actor Mammootty was playing a gay character in the film. Due to this, the fans are saying that the release of this film has been banned. It is noteworthy that no announcement has been made by the film crew till now.
