Farah Khan had said, ‘There was just an altercation between them, but more than that, Shahrukh and I had a friendship, so Shahrukh thought it right to move away from there. Later everything became fine between us and I took forward my ‘Happy New Year’ project with Shahrukh.

Farah also told that Shirish and Shahrukh were not on talking terms for some time, as happens with all friends. But later both of them became normal. Shahrukh still comes to his house and Farah also goes to Shahrukh’s house with her family.

Friendship was formed on the sets of ‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na’

Farah Khan was the choreographer in the 1994 film Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na and Shahrukh was the lead actor. According to a report, Shahrukh and Farah’s friendship started from there and later they worked together in many films. When Farah Khan expressed her desire to become a director, Shahrukh made her first film Main Hoon Na in his home production, in which he also acted. The film was a superhit.

After this Farah launched Deepika Padukone with the film Om Shanti Om. Shahrukh also made this film in his home production Red Chillies Entertainment in which the lead actor remained the same. This film proved to be a blockbuster. After this, the same actor and director’s film Happy New Year came and the commercial of this film also became a super hit.
