Before the release of ‘Bramhastra’, an event was held in Hyderabad where people associated with the film gathered. The event was hosted by filmmakers Karan Johar and SS Rajamouli. In the program, Karan Johar attacked the separatist ideology of Indian cinema. Karan Johar gave his opinion on Bollywood vs South Cinema debate.
According to media reports, Karan Johar insisted that the Indian film industry should not be seen as ‘Bollywood’ or ‘Tollywood’. Junior NTR was present as the chief guest at the event. The producer thanked him, ‘Thank you Jr NTR, you graced us with your presence. Your support means everything to us. We are trying our way to reach every corner of the country.
Karan Johar further said, ‘As SS Rajamouli sir has said this is Indian cinema. Do not call it by any other name. We keep calling it Bollywood, Tollywood.” We are proud to be a part of Indian cinema. Now every film will be an Indian film.
Earlier KGF star Yash also appealed to everyone not to divide Indian films. He said that all films are one and are a part of Indian cinema. After that, Karan Johar has also said the same.
