British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was against imposing a second lockdown during Corona in 2020. As Finance Minister he had said let people die. A panel formed on Britain’s Corona epidemic has made this claim. This panel is investigating how Covid-19 was handled in Britain.

In a hearing held on Monday, the panel said that Sunak’s words had been noted in his diary by the government’s Chief Scientific Advisor Patrick Vallance during a meeting on 25 October 2020. During that time, Sunak was the Finance Minister of Britain and Boris Johnson was the Prime Minister of Britain. They were discussing the strategy to deal with Corona.

Sunak’s spokesman has said that the Prime Minister will present evidence on the entire matter rather than answering any one question. 2 lakh 20 thousand people died in Britain during Corona. The panel formed on Corona will continue its investigation till 2026. Government officials had alleged that there were problems in dealing with the pandemic due to the government’s toxic approach.

During Corona, Sunak started the ‘Eat out to help out’ policy. Under this, people were encouraged to go out and eat. So that the country’s economy can improve. On this, the Government’s Scientific Advisor had called Sunak the doctor of death.

Britain’s Scientific Advisor claims that there was no discussion with him on the Eat Out-Help Out policy.

Boris Johnson lost his MP over Corona party, will Sunak survive?
Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson suddenly resigned from his MP position on 8 June. He was accused of partying in Britain’s PM office during Corona while he was the Prime Minister. The House of Commons of Britain had formed a committee to investigate the case, in whose report he was found guilty. In this there was talk of imposing restrictions on Boris Johnson.

According to the New York Times report, Sunak’s Conservative Party is trailing the opposition Labor Party by 20% in opinion polls. In such a situation, the report of the Corona panel will weaken his image among the people. Recently the voices of protest against him have become stronger in his party also.

Sunak’s own party MP Andrea Jenkins had recently written a letter to bring a no-confidence motion against him. He had said – Enough is enough, the leader of our party is a person who has been rejected by the members. Now it has been proved in the polls that the public also does not like Sunak. Now is the time for Sunak to go. Sunak had removed Home Minister Suella Braverman from the post, due to which some leaders of his party are angry.
