Struggle story of Famous Sueprstar: While there are many stars in the Indian film industry who have taken big degrees like engineering and MBBS, on the other hand there are many who had failed in 10th and 9th before taking up acting. But here we are talking about a superstar who failed in 7th class itself. However, now he is a big hero and his name is also included among the rich actors of the country.

The hero we are talking about is one of the highest paid actors in India and he has worked hard to reach here. His journey from a waiter to one of India’s top actors was never easy. And he is none other than Bollywood’s Khiladi Akshay Kumar.

When Akshay Kumar was young, he went to Don Bosco High School in Matunga and started learning karate there. However, he had no interest in studies. In one of his interviews, he had revealed that he had failed in 7th class. Speaking to ANI, he revealed that his father had asked him, ‘Tu banna kya chahta hai? After failing in 7th. Then he replied, ‘I want to become a hero.’

Talking about his childhood, Akshay Kumar said, ‘We 24 people lived in the same house in Chandni Chowk. We all slept in the same room. When we used to get up in the morning for exercise, everyone would jump over each other to get out. Let us tell you that at that time the rent of his house was Rs 100.

Akshay Kumar started from Guru Nanak Khalsa College, but due to lack of interest in studies, he left his studies. Later, he went to Thailand with the help of his father to further his martial arts. After spending five years in Bangkok, he became an expert in Thai boxing. Growing up with his sister Alka Bhatia, Akshay Kumar revealed his desire to become an actor during his teenage years when his father asked him what he wanted to do when he grew up.

Already holding a black belt in Taekwondo from India, he furthered his martial arts training in Bangkok, mastering Thai while working as a chef and waiter. After Thailand, Kumar visited several other places including Calcutta, where he worked in a travel agency, while in Dhaka he worked as a hotel chef. While in Delhi, he sold Kundan jewelery and on returning to Bombay, he started teaching martial arts.

Kumar’s initial screen debut was in the film Aaj, under his birth name Rajeev Hariom Bhatia, in which he played a small role of a karate instructor. Later, inspired by Kumar Gaurav’s character Akshay in a film, he adopted the name Akshay Kumar and changed his name to Akshay Hariom Bhatia. His big break came when he missed the flight for an advertisement shoot in Bengaluru. Then, disappointed, he visited a film studio with his portfolio and the same evening he got the lead role in the film Deedar, signed by producer Pramod Chakraborty.

After so much struggle, Akshay Kumar is now one of the richest actors in today’s era who owns a luxurious bungalow in Mumbai which is worth Rs 80 crore. According to reports, Akshay Kumar’s net worth is now Rs 2,500 crore. He has houses in Goa, Canada and other places.
