The accused arrested in the Salman Khan shooting case were interrogated by the Delhi Police for three hours

Mumbai Salman Khan House Firing : The two suspects, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, who were arrested in connection with the shooting incident at actor Salman Khan’s residence, were thoroughly interrogated by a team of Delhi Police. The probe, which lasted for about three hours, was aimed at unraveling the relationship between the accused and Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who claimed responsibility for the shooting.

Inquiry to be held today: Delhi Police is keen to understand how Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal came in contact with associates of the Bishnoi gang when several cases were registered against the Bishnoi gang in Delhi. Similarly, currently gangster Lawrence Bishnoi is in the custody of Delhi Police. In addition, the Delhi Police sought information about possible conspiracies of the Bishnoi gang. A team of Delhi Police entered Mumbai. They detained both the accused who were in the police custody of the crime branch and interrogated them. Sources said that there is a plan to conduct further investigation on Thursday if there are some questions remaining.

Accused arrested from Gujarat’s Bhuj: Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal were on the run after the April 14 shooting incident at actor Salman Khan’s house. But within 48 hours he was nabbed by Mumbai Crime Branch in Bhuj, Gujarat. Also, the pistol used in the firing was thrown into the Tapi river in Surat. Both the pistols have been recovered from the river in the efforts made by the police. The police custody of the arrested accused will end on Thursday. The crime branch wants the accused to be remanded in custody for further investigation. As the people who gave the pistol and money to both the accused have not been found, it is expected that the police custody will be extended.
