Mumbai: Maharashtra Police has filed a charge sheet in the pornography case. The police have filed a charge sheet before the Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court in the pornography case of actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra. Maharashtra’s cyber police have accused Raj Kundra, model Charlene Chopra, Poonam Pandey and filmmaker Meeta Jhunjhunwala of shooting obscene videos.
It has been said in the charge sheet that these obscene videos were shot in two five-star hotels in the suburbs of Mumbai in connivance with each other. Not only this, the police also alleged that the four had distributed the video on various OTT platforms for financial gain.
In this charge sheet, Prime OTT’s Suvajit Chaudhary and Raj Kundra’s employee Umesh Kamath are also named as managers of the London-based company ‘Hotshot’. Earlier in 2021, Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch had filed a separate charge sheet in the month of April.
In July last year, Raj Kundra was arrested in a pornography case. He was released on bail after two months in jail. After completing a year of bail, Raj wrote to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) seeking justice in the case. He had claimed that I am innocent and they are trying to implicate me in this case.
After the arrest of Raj Kundra, the police raided his office. 68 obscene videos were found in a laptop seized from his office.
