By the way of the father is the son; Shaji Kailas son Jagan to direct film Siju Wilson as lead

Jagan, son of famous director Shaji Kailas and actress Annie, is all set to make his film debut in Shaji Kailas. Jagan will be a director like his father. The film is produced by Jomi Pulingun under the banner of MPM Productions and Saint Maria Productions. Siju Wilson will play the central role. Jagan has produced a musical album titled Kari starring Ahana Krishna in the lead role. He was working as an assistant to Ranji Panicker, Shaji Kailas and Nithin Ranji Panicker.

It is reported that prominent actors from Malayalam and Bollywood will line up in the film. The film is being made in investigative crime thriller genre. Siju plays the role of SI Binu Lal. Scripted by Sanjeev S, the story takes place in a village located close to the forest boundary.

Music is composed by Gopi Sundar. Cinematography by Jackson Johnson and editing by Christy Sebastian. Art Direction by Danny Mussaris. Makeup by Anish Vipin. Costume design by Veena Syamanthak.

Pooja and title launch of the film will be held in Kochi on June 2. The shooting will begin on June 5 in Palakkad.
