Hollywood film Avatar 2 will not be screened in Kerala, says ‘Fiok’. The reason for the ban is because the suppliers are asking for more money. The film will release worldwide on December 16. Many fans are waiting for the movie in Kerala too. The film is also distributed in Kerala by Disney Company.
Avatar 2 is the sequel to the box office hit film Avatar released in 2009. It stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Matt Gerald, Cliff Curtis and Kate Winslet.
Avatar 2 and 3 are mostly set in and around the ocean. Part II introduces a new race of rock-dwelling Na’vi named the Metkaina. If the first part of Avatar was about forests and against deforestation, the new film is a love letter to the sea. Tropical beaches and the shores of Pandora are described in the film as a seaside paradise.
After 2009’s Avatar, Cameron announced that the life of the ‘Navi’ aliens on Pandora will be brought to the audience in four parts. After years of technical research and actor training, Avatar 2 was shot underwater. The makers claim that the film will be full of technology that will keep the audience on edge to the point of surprising even a Navy SEAL.
