Ambalapuzha ∙ Editor and director Madhu Kainakari has passed away leaving behind the desire to see the children’s film ‘Guests in Heaven’ on the silver screen. The story and screenplay of the film Ambalapuzha Amaya is in a room inside Kanniyel’s house while Madhu’s lifeless body is in another room. He passed away yesterday morning. Madhu was the favorite editor of director Padmarajan.

Madhu was introduced to Padmarajan by Thopil Bhasi’s son Ajayan. Madhu was an editor at Doordarshan at that time. Madhu did the editing for the film ‘Oridathoru Filevan’ directed by Padmarajan after Peruvahiyambalam. Then Padmarajan did not have to think about another editor when he made the film ‘Kallan Pavithran’

In 1986, Madhu Kainakari was the first to film Sabarimala Makaravilak for Doordarshan. Film editor and documentary director Amayita Kanniel Madhu Kainakari (71) passed away. Madhu, who completed his editing studies from Adyar Film Institute, was one of director Padmarajan’s favorite editors. Also worked as program officer in Doordarshan. He has edited films such as November’s Loss, Kadbhiti, Eruthitthoru Filewan, Kallan Pavithran, Parann ​​Parann ​​Parann. He has also directed telefilms Pishukan Patros, Paavam Govindankutty and documentaries such as Manjula (Marathi), 7-70 Vattam.
