Thiruvananthapuram: Malainkeesh police have arrested eight people including DYFI local leader Jinesh under the POCSO Act in connection with the rape of a 16-year-old girl. Arrested DYFI cropping regional committee president J. Neighbor and entrepreneur Sreeja Ajesh has now come forward against Jinesh. Sreeja points to an incident six years ago.
In 2016, Geneesh posted Sreeja’s phone number in a porn group. From the very next day, phone calls and messages came. After further investigation, Sreeja came to know that the local man Geneesh himself had put the phone number in the group. Although he decided to file a case, the young man’s father came and apologized and said that the whole family would have to commit suicide if it was found out, so he withdrew. Sreeja’s demand as a remedy is to pay Rs 25,000 to Abhay, Sreechitra Home or Gandhi Bhavan and hand over the donation receipt. His father agreed to this demand so that his son would not end up in prison. Sreeja had earlier shared this receipt on Facebook.
