The second match of the three ODI series will be played in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. This is the first time that an international match will be played in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh.
It is worth noting that before this only IPL and Road Safety matches have been organized in Raipur. Now this match will be played between India and New Zealand at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Stadium in the capital Raipur.
Hosted Raipur for the first time
Let us inform that for the first time the BCCI is handing over the hosting of an international match to Chhattisgarh. The BCCI has given this information to the Chhattisgarh Cricket Board. According to the information, the second match of the three ODIs between India and New Zealand will be played in Raipur on January 21.

International match has never been played at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh ground of Raipur. In the year 2013, 2 IPL matches were played here. Apart from this, for the second time in the year 2015, IPL and domestic Ranji Trophy matches were played here in 2016. Apart from this, Mushtaq Ali T20 and T20 Challenger Trophy matches have also been played. Now Chhattisgarh Cricket Association has been organizing domestic cricket on the basis of success. In view of this, now BCCI has entrusted this big responsibility of international match.
