Haryana Update: This road, which starts from a village called Chautala and passes through three areas of Jind district, will soon become a national highway to Panipat. It will conclude at the new bus stand of Panipat.
Alignment means deciding where the road will go. The people in charge still need to make the final decision. The National Highway Authority will say yes to wherever the easiest road is.
They are saying that Delhi-Panipat Highway will be finished soon. The construction of the highway will also help in carrying out other work in the area faster. A lot of money will be spent in building the highway, but they will soon give approval for the road.
When people from Uchana, Narwana, Uchana in Punjab have to go to Dehradun, they have to pass through Panipat. They can choose to go via Jinan and Safidon or Assandh to reach Panipat. Panipat is easy to reach as it is directly on the highway near the exit.
We are going to build a new highway called DPR Foot Highway. To do this, we will have to buy land from people living in 17 villages of Jind district. The highway will also pass through 3 major roads and 2 minor roads.
It will be 300 kilometers long, which will go from Panipat to Dabli on the border of Haryana and Punjab. The highway will pass through villages in Panipat, Karnal, Jind, Hisar, Fatehabad and Sirsa districts.
In Jind district, Delhi-Panipat Highway will pass through Jind Kaithal State Highway and Jind Narwana National Highway. Then, it will also pass through Narnaul Islamabad Highway and the under construction Delhi Jammu Katra Highway.
Finally, the highway will end in Panipat by joining the Jind-Panipat State Highway after heading towards Sonipat.
