Rain is also being recorded in Lucknow including Barabanki, Gonda, Hardoi, Sitapur, Ayodhya, Bundelkhand and some western Uttar Pradesh districts. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of drizzle with movement of clouds in different parts of the state throughout the week after Saturday.

According to Danish, senior scientist of the weather centre, at present the monsoon trough i.e. the low pressure area is around Madhya Pradesh. Due to this, there are chances of rain with thunder and lightning at some places in Bundelkhand and Western Uttar Pradesh. There may be drizzle with clouds in Lucknow and surrounding districts. After September 18, the weather will clear in most parts of the state. An increase of up to two degrees can be recorded in temperature.
Warning issued for thunderstorm
According to the Meteorological Department, on Sunday, Ambedkar Nagar, Amroha, Ayodhya, Badaun, Baghpat, Barabanki, Bareilly, Bijnor, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Hardoi, Lakhimpur Kheri, Meerut, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Pilibhit, Rampur, Saharanpur, Sambhal, Shahjahanpur, Shamli and A warning has been issued for severe thunderstorm and lightning around Sitapur. There is a possibility of lightning during this period. In such a situation, there may be damage to electricity, traffic, livestock and property.

On Saturday, the maximum temperature of the capital was recorded at 33.4 degrees and the minimum temperature was 27.6 degrees Celsius. Between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm, two mm of rain was also recorded. Apart from Lucknow, 16 mm in Hardoi, 6.2 in Sultanpur, 6.2 in Muzaffarnagar. Rain was recorded in many districts including Agra, Meerut, Bareilly, Ayodhya, Sultanpur, Barabanki, Bahraich, Sonbhadra, 12.8 mm in Najibabad, 10.4 mm in Najibabad, 9.4 mm in Aligarh. Due to this the temperature also dropped. The highest temperature in the state was recorded in Varanasi at 35.5 degrees Celsius. Whereas, the minimum temperature of the state was recorded at 23 degrees Celsius in Najibabad.
