Today, yellow alert has been issued regarding heavy rain in the state capital Ranchi, Gumla, Simdega, Khunti, Palamu and Garhwa. At the same time, people will also experience heavy rainfall at some places today. Actually, orange alert has been issued regarding heavy rain in East and West Singhbhum.
Apart from this, all the remaining areas of the state are expected to remain cloudy today. At the same time, sporadic rain may occur at some places. If we talk about Jamshedpur, it has been raining continuously in the city for the last two-three days. Light rain continued throughout the day on Tuesday also. Whereas it rained heavily in the evening.
Effect will be visible till 5th October
Due to this there was accumulation of water at many places. Due to heavy rains the water level of Swarnarekha and Kharkai rivers has also increased. However, the water is still far below the danger mark. According to the Meteorological Department, a low pressure area has formed in the Bay of Bengal, the effect of which can be seen till October 5.
In such a situation, people also need to be careful. The weather is expected to clear from October 6. According to the Meteorological Department, 33 mm rainfall has been recorded in Jamshedpur in the last 24 hours. At the same time, the maximum temperature of the city was recorded at 28.5 mm and the minimum temperature was 25 degrees Celsius.
How was the weather in Jharkhand in the last 24 hours?
According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rainfall occurred at almost all places in the state in the last 24 hours. Whereas very heavy rainfall was also recorded at some places in the south-eastern and north-western parts. Monsoon remained highly active in the state.
The highest rainfall of 152 mm was recorded in Dhurki of Garhwa. At the same time, the highest temperature of 32.1 degrees Celsius was recorded in Deoghar while the lowest minimum temperature of 22.3 degrees Celsius was recorded in Ranchi.
At the same time, there was heavy rain in Lohardaga also on Tuesday. It rained heavily in all the blocks from the city to the villages and districts. In such a situation, farmers are very happy seeing the mood of the weather. From October 1 to October 3, the district has received 73.3 mm rainfall against the normal rainfall of 44.3 mm.
