According to the information received from the sources, checking was done by the enforcement personnel of the corporation in October, in which the department received a revenue of Rs 32 lakh 58 thousand 385 in just one month.

Principal Manager (Personnel) of the corporation, Ashok Kumar said that several steps have been taken to recover the transport corporation from losses. Due to this the corporation has earned huge dividends in the last six and a half years. For this, the buses of the Transport Corporation are regularly checked from time to time through the Sumo crew and interceptors formed at the headquarters level. In such a situation, in October, the buses operated by the Transport Corporation were inspected 1 lakh 16 thousand 834 times.

The head of the corporation said that during the investigation, a total of 4901 passengers were found traveling without tickets, while 172.4 tonnes of unbooked load was seized. Due to the action taken by the investigation team, the department recovered Rs 32 lakh 58 thousand 385. During this period, alcohol test of 8,420 drivers and conductors was also done.

The Uttar Pradesh government is working rapidly towards creating industrial corridors along the expressways. On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPDA) has identified sites for industrial centres. According to the information, under the scheme, UPDA will establish industrial centers along five expressways in the state. These include Agra-Lucknow Expressway, Purvanchal Expressway, Bundelkhand Expressway, Gorakhpur Link Expressway and Ganga Expressway. An amount of more than seven thousand crores is estimated to be spent on this.
