The Shinde group of Shiv Sena has set up branches in containers in various parts of Mira-Bhainder city in open spaces by the road. Political parties such as Congress, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray faction), MNS etc. have strongly opposed them saying that these container branches are illegal. Protests were also held on this issue. On Monday, the opposition from all parties met Municipal Commissioner Sanjay Katkar. He demanded action against the illegal branches of the Shinde group. Commissioner Katkar assured them that appropriate action will be taken as per the resolution approved earlier in the General Assembly regarding the action against the illegal offices of the political parties.
But if the Municipal Corporation takes action according to this, it is likely to take action against about 55 offices of various political parties including the Shinde group. Due to this, a problem has arisen in front of other political parties who have questioned the office of the Shinde group. Therefore, it is predicted that their role will be weakened in the future.
