Yatra will cover all the villages and cities of Haryana in 50 days
Chandigarh, November 20 – Haryana Chief Secretary, Shri Sanjeev Kaushal said that Haryana Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra will be started from November 22 with the aim of making the public aware about various welfare schemes implemented by the Central and State Government. The aim of the yatra is to ensure widespread information and benefits of major government schemes including PM Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Jal Jeevan Mission, Jan Dhan Yojana and Swachh Bharat Mission.
The Chief Secretary was presiding over the review meeting organized here today regarding the preparations and arrangements of Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra. Deputy Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner, DMC and other senior officials of the state joined the meeting online.
The Chief Secretary said that the Yatra will start in rural areas on November 22 and will cover all the villages across Haryana in the next 50 days. 72 LED vans will be deployed to reach every corner of the state and provide information and connect with the public.
A nodal officer has been appointed in each district who will be the coordinator for the Yatra activities. The vans will be equipped with promotional material, films and digital displays etc. to effectively communicate the achievements and policies of the government.
The Chief Secretary said that many representatives including Self Help Group stalls, CSC stalls and District Social Welfare and District Welfare Officers will be present along with the yatra, giving on the spot information about schemes related to pension, Aadhaar, family identity card, agriculture and horticulture.
