The youth wrote that his mother’s treatment is going on in the orthopedics department of AIIMS. The doctors of the department asked the patient to get an MRI of the right shoulder. When the MRI was done, it was given a date of February 2, 2026. On this date, how will the youth be treated without MRI?
At the same time, other patients of the department say that due to the long date they have to be examined outside. Let it be known that earlier Loknayak Hospital had also given a long date to the patient for MRI. At the same time, Professor Reema Dada, Head of Media Department of AIIMS, said that orders were given to do MRI 24 hours a day. After this, we are able to do 20 percent more MRI than before, but we have more patients.
Long wait for ultrasound too
In AIIMS, we have to wait long for ultrasound along with MRI. Patients sharing information on social media said that they have to wait two months for ultrasound. Let it be known that AIIMS Delhi had issued an order on February 11, claiming that ultrasounds were being done to patients within a day of the doctor’s prescription. Avichal Sharma, a resident of Delhi’s Mayur Vihar, is undergoing treatment in the Department of Medicine of AIIMS. He has been given a date of 3 January 2025 for ultrasound. Avichal also told him about the order of the AIIMS administration that the ultrasound examination should be done within a day but still he was asked to come on 3rd January.
