Preparations for the event started in Ambala
In the first phase, sports competitions will be held under Khel Mahakumbh in Ambala, Panchkula, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra from 28 to 30 November, while after this, competitions will be organized in Karnal, Rohtak, Faridabad, Gurugram from 4 to 6 December. Ambala has started its preparations for organizing the games.

Apart from this event, Khelo Haryana has also been organized by Ambala. This time competitions in gymnastics, swimming and football will be organized under Khel Mahakumbh.
Ambala has international level facilities
International level sports facilities are available in the sports competitions under which the Khel Mahakumbh is to be held in Ambala. The gymnastics hall of the War Heroes Memorial Stadium of Ambala Cantonment has international standard sports equipment, while there is also an international standard all-weather swimming pool. Similarly, there is also an international level football turf approved by FIFA.
