Hyderabad, Light: Indian Poultry Equipment Manufacturers Association has announced that Poultry India Exhibition will be held from 22nd to 24th of this month. This program will be held at Hitex in Hyderabad. The program provides comprehensive information on poultry feed equipment, technologies, egg production, chicken health and international products. Research also informs the latest advancements in science and technology. Apart from organizing scientific forums, they also inform about career opportunities in the poultry industry. A record 380 companies from our country and 45 companies from abroad will participate in this exhibition.
It is expected that 30 thousand business visitors will come in three days. More than 1,500 delegates from various countries will talk about breeding, hygiene, nutrition, animal health and poultry equipment. Uday Singh Bias, president of the association said that the Indian poultry sector provides employment to more than 25 thousand layer farmers and 10 lakh broiler farmers. He said that Fowltree India Exhibition has been organized in Hyderabad for the last fifteen years. According to the National Institute of Nutrition (NIN), per capita consumption of eggs in India is 180 kg, while chicken meat is 9 kg. India ranks second in egg production and fourth in chicken meat production in the world.
