Navkerala Sadas: Security beefed up for Chief Minister; Youth Congress will hold a protest march

Kannur: Navkerala Sadas will continue today in Kannur district. Navkerala Sadas will be held today in Azhikode, Kannur, Thalassery and Dharmadam constituencies. Youth Congress workers showed black flag to the Chief Minister who was going to Taliparam yesterday after the Navakerala meeting in Kalyashery.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has beefed up security in view of the possibility of another protest in the New Kerala Assembly. More police will be deployed at the venue of the event and during the Navakerala Sadas Yatra.

Meanwhile, the Youth Congress has announced that it will march to the Navakerala Sadas venue. The announcement is that a march will be held at the Kannur Collectorate grounds at 11 am to the Navakerala Sadas. The march is in protest against the beating of the Youth Congress workers who showed the black flag by the DYFIs.
