Haryana Chief Minister has given big relief to BPL card holders. The CM said that persons covered under Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) with income up to Rs 1.80 lakh were denied the benefit of BPL card when their electricity bill was Rs 12,000.
Now this slab has been abolished, eliminating the obligation of electricity bill. The Chief Minister also announced to provide 2 liters of mustard oil per month to every family of BPL ration card holders with income up to Rs 1.80 lakh.
The Chief Minister was addressing a function in Faridabad. In the program, the CM said that the government made a lot of efforts to improve the healthcare infrastructure, in 2014 there were 700 MBBS seats in the state, which has now increased to 1900 seats.
CM said that now there is a plan to increase it to 3100 in future. The Chief Minister praised the Bharatiya Janata Party workers for playing an important role in taking the government’s pro-people policies to the masses.
He stressed the importance of transparency in the recruitment process and said that now jobs are given on the basis of merit without any corruption.

Special attention has been given to education, health care and security and the police force has been strengthened with a significant increase in the number of women officers and personnel.
The number of women in police has been increased from 6 percent to 11 percent and will increase to 15 percent in future. The CM said the government has started social security pensions and allowances for various categories including old age, widows and disabled persons.
The government has also created the Department of Foreign Corporations to facilitate job opportunities for youth abroad. On this occasion, Union Minister of State for Energy and Heavy Industries Krishnapal Gurjar emphasized the selfless service of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Manohar Lal towards the nation and appreciated their dedication.
