Uttarakhand Weather: Weather of Uttarakhand will be like this between light clouds and sunshine, big update regarding rain.

Jagran correspondent, Dehradun. The weather remains dry in Uttarakhand and at present there is no possibility of any change in the weather patterns. Due to bright sunshine, maximum and minimum temperatures remain above normal in most areas. However, there may be partly cloudy sky in the hilly areas on coming Thursday.

There was bright sunshine in Dehradun since Monday morning. Due to dry weather the mercury was also recorded higher than normal. In most areas of the state, the maximum temperature is two to three degrees Celsius above normal and the minimum temperature is one to two degrees Celsius above normal.

There is no chance of rain

According to Bikram Singh, Director of Meteorological Center, the weather in the state may remain dry at present. Due to fresh western disturbance being active in the Himalayan region on coming Thursday, there may be partial cloud cover at some places in the hilly areas. There is no chance of rain at present. The temperature may remain normal or slightly higher.

snowfall on high peaks

Snowfall continues in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand. The white blanket of snow is giving a feeling of severe cold in the plains. After morning and evening, now the weather has started becoming a bit rough in the afternoon also. People have started wearing warm winter clothes. In view of the snowfall, now the doors of Char Dham have also been closed for winter.

Tourists are reaching Uttarakhand

As soon as snowfall starts, the number of tourists in the mountains has also started increasing. People are already moving to the mountains to escape the season’s crowds. People are planning to go to higher areas to enjoy snowfall. Recently, former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni came to Uttarakhand with his family. He spent time in his native village in Almora and after that also visited Nainital.
