Election Fight in Malkajgiri Constituency : Malkajigiri Legislative Assembly Constituency stands as a symbol of unity in diversity. Four lakh 89 thousand 43 voters will exercise their right to vote this time. 44 percent of them are youth. 33 candidates are in the fray in Malkajigiri. Marri Rajasekhar Reddy from BRS, Mainampally Hanmantha Rao from Congress, The BJP On behalf of Ramchander Rao.. they are fighting each other. Mainampally, who is a sitting MLA, left BRS because he was unhappy that his son Rohit Rao was not given a Medak ticket and joined the Hastam party. BRS fielded Minister Mallareddy’s son-in-law Marri Rajasekhar Reddy. Ramchandra Rao, who was defeated in 2014 and 2018 elections from BJP, is testing his luck this time.

In 2009Congress Candidate Akula Rajender, BRS candidates Chintala Kanakareddy and Mainampally Hanmantha Rao won in 2014 and 2018 elections. BRS, who have raised the pink flag against Malkajigiri twice in a row, are determined to win for the third time and achieve a hat-trick. Even if sitting MLA Hanmantha Rao’s party changed, it is fighting strong.
Harish Rao is campaigning that if Marri Rajasekhar Reddy wins, he will adopt and develop the constituency. Mainampalli Hanmantha Rao looks confident that no one can stop his victory in Malkajigiri..
