The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka along with Lakshadweep island today. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain with lightning at some places. Jammu and Kashmir along with Ladakh will witness unseasonal rain today, IMD has said.
Climate change due to hurricanes
With the formation of a cyclone in the Bay of Bengal, its effect is seen on the weather. Heavy rain is expected in Andaman and Nicobar Islands today. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the temperature will drop in Maharashtra for the next few days and the weather will remain dry. Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya along with Odisha and Jharkhand will also witness heavy rain.

Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Konkan will witness dry weather today, the Met department has predicted. The temperature will drop in the morning and night. The weather department has predicted that the temperature will increase slightly in the afternoon and the weather will remain dry.
The cold got worse
Due to the cyclone formed in the Bay of Bengal, strong winds are blowing from northeast to India. This has created a favorable environment for rain in many places. So, the severity of cold has increased in some places. The weather has changed due to the cyclone and the Meteorological Department has predicted the possibility of light to moderate rain in some places.
Heavy rain forecast in ‘this’ area
The IMD has predicted heavy rains in Tamil Nadu and Kerala for the next two days from today. There is a high chance of rain in Andhra Pradesh coastal areas today on November 21. During November 22 and 23, heavy rainfall will be witnessed in Karnataka. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Kerala and Mahe on November 22 and 23. A sheet of dense fog will also be seen in some places. Dense fog is likely over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
