Thiruvananthapuram∙ KSRTC employees’ uniform is back to khaki. At present, the driver and conductor of the KSRTC bus are wearing navy blue pants and sky blue shirts; Navy blue pants and sky blue shirt/churidar for women employees.
Male drivers and conductors will now have to wear khaki pants and a half-sleeve shirt with one pocket. KSRTC emblem should be printed on the pocket. Khaki colored churidar and sleeveless overcoat for women employees. A name board with pen number should be worn.
Khaki pants and half sleeve shirt for Station Master, Vehicle Supervisor and Chargeman. Name board and category should be mentioned on shoulder flap. Inspectors should wear a khaki safari suit and a board with the Corporation’s emblem, name and post. Navy blue pants and shirt for mechanic, pump operator, tire inspector, tire retreader and store staff. Navy blue saree, blouse and churidar for women. Peon category employees were exempted from wearing uniform. An employee will be allowed 2 pairs of uniforms. Sections whose uniforms have not been amended should continue with the current uniform pattern.
