New Delhi. Today, the weather has worsened in the country’s capital Delhi (Delhi) and surrounding areas compared to the last 24 hours. Here, except Gurugram, all the major cities of NCR including Delhi have air quality in the very poor category and the index is above 300. It is also said that there will be no relief from this in the coming days, because the weather conditions are still unfavorable. Even today the Air Quality Index (AQI) is in the ‘Very Poor’ category.
In fact today according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) the air quality in Delhi remains in the ‘very poor’ category. Today Anand Vihar recorded AQI 374, Jahangirpuri 399, Lodhi Road 315, New Moti Bagh 370.
Please inform that as per the data released by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) last Monday at 4 pm, the Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi was recorded at 348. At the same time, it was 329 in Faridabad, 321 in Ghaziabad, 318 in Greater Noida and 331 in Noida. All these figures are of very poor quality.
However, Gurugram recorded an AQI of 261 below 300 which is now in the poor category. According to CPCB, there is no possibility of further improvement in air quality in a few days. Although experts say that as the temperature will drop, the reduction in air speed will cause the air pollution particles and condensation to spread in the atmosphere.
CPCB has predicted that the winds will blow from the north-west today i.e. on Tuesday. In this case, the air will remain in the very poor category even today. However, the winds can definitely blow from the east direction on Thursday. Today, the wind speed is expected to remain at 8 km/hr.
