Weather Update : While the state is in the grip of cold weather, once again the weather conditions have changed and there has been a lot of upheaval in the atmosphere. While the morning and night temperatures are dropping to a large extent in North Maharashtra, there are signs of rain in South Maharashtra. The weather department has also predicted the same possibility.
Mumbai, Konkan and Madhya Maharashtra may witness cloudy conditions for the next few days due to the formation of cyclonic winds over the Arabian Sea. Due to which the Meteorological Department has predicted the possibility of moderate rain for the next few days from November 23. Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility that there will be signs of cloudy weather in Raigad, Mumbai, Ratnagiri, Sangli, Satara, Kolhapur, Nashik but also in Solapur, Dharashiv, Latur, Chandrapur districts from November 23 to 26.
Meanwhile, due to this environment, rabi crops are getting direct benefit. According to the information of Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature will not drop satisfactorily in the next few days, due to which the effect of cold will be seen to reduce somewhat. Some parts of the state, however, will be an exception here, because the cold will be more severe in those parts.
Changes in the country’s climate
Most of the states of the country are recording a drop in temperature. According to the IMD, a Western Monsoon currently active in Pakistan is moving towards the East. Due to this, gusty winds may blow in North West India. Not only this, it is predicted that these areas may also record a minimum drop of three degrees in temperature.
According to Skymet data, a cold wave is forecast from Delhi to Kashmir today. There, the effects of western monsoon can be seen in the mountainous areas in the northern states. Due to which there will be sporadic showers in the plains. The Meteorological Department has predicted that Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Kashmir Valley and most of Ladakh will face the cold wave. Light to moderate rain is likely over parts of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh as cloud movement continues till November 26. Andaman and Nicobar island groups along with northeast India may also experience rain.
