Two months ago, the Dhangar community was on fast to death at Chaundi in Ahmednagar district for the Dhangar community to get ST category reservation. At this time, the government delegation met the protestors and asked for a deadline of 50 days. Even after this deadline, the government did not implement Dhangar reservation. Therefore, a huge march was organized today in Jalna on behalf of the Dhangar community to attract the attention of the government.

Dhangar Bandhwani took an aggressive stand as the officer did not come to take the statement. At this time, the Dhangar Samaj brothers broke the main entrance of the Collector’s office and entered the premises of the Collector’s office shouting loud slogans and leaving the entire area in a state of chaos. An atmosphere of tension was created in the district collector’s office due to this incident.
