Tibetan religious leader Dalai Lama will visit 3 states of the country next month. During this time, he will be teaching in Bodhgaya (Bihar) in the last days of December. Dalai Lama’s travel and teaching schedule for the coming month has been released.
Dharamshala (Bureau): Tibetan religious leader Dalai Lama will visit 3 states of the country next month. During this time, he will be teaching in Bodhgaya (Bihar) in the last days of December. Dalai Lama’s travel and teaching schedule for the coming month has been released. Dalai Lama will first be on a tour of Sikkim. After that we will visit Bodhgaya in West Bengal and Bihar.
The Dalai Lama will deliver a sermon on the 37 Bodhisattva Practices of Gyalsi Thokme Tsangpo at the Paljor Stadium in the morning at the request of the State Government in Gangtok, Sikkim on 12 December. In Salugara (West) Bengal, he will give a general sermon on December 14, followed by a ceremony for the birth of bodhichitta in the morning at Sed-Gyud Monastery. After this, he will give sermons for 3 days at Kalachakra Shikshan Ground in Bodhgaya (Bihar) from 29th to 31st December.
On the morning of 29th and 30th December, Lama will preach on Nagarjuna’s In Praise of Dhammadhatu. Manjushree will provide Abhishek on 31st December. Dalai Lama will also welcome the New Year from Bodhgaya. A special prayer meeting will be organized in Bodh Gaya on 1 January 2024 for the long life of Dalai Lama. It is noteworthy that Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang met religious leader Dalai Lama in McLeodganj some time ago. During this time, Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tawang invited the Dalai Lama to visit Sikkim.
