Spokesperson of South Haryana Electricity Distribution Corporation said here today that South Haryana Electricity Distribution Corporation will hear the complaints of electricity consumers of Hisar, Bhiwani, Sirsa, Jind, Charkhi Dadri and Fatehabad districts falling under Hisar zone on November 22 at 11 am. It will be done from 1:00 pm to 1:00 pm in the office of Chief Engineer/Operation, South Haryana Electricity Distribution Corporation, Vidyut Nagar, Hisar.
The spokesperson said that the committee under the chairmanship of the Chief Engineer will hear the complaints of consumers. Cases involving amounts ranging from one lakh to three lakh will be heard by Shri Rajneesh Garg as the Chairman of the Regional Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum at Hisar Zone level.
Which mainly includes wrong billing (amount ranging from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 3 lakh), voltage related issues, interruptions in power supply, delay in replacing faulty meters etc.
He said that during this period, the committee will not hear the punishment and fine in cases of electricity theft and unauthorized use of electricity under Section 126, 127 and Section 135 to 140, 142, 143, 146, 152 of the Electricity Act and cases related to investigation and accidents under Section 161.
