United Kisan Morcha leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal clearly said in a press conference at Shambhu border on Monday that the central government should give full legal guarantee of MSP, not an agreement. We do not accept anything less than this.

Dallewal said that the proposal that has come forward from the Union Ministers in exchange for the legal guarantee of MSP is far from the parameters of agreeing to our demands. In fact, the ministers have not given guarantee of MSP to farmer organizations but of purchase contract. There is no plan on what the government’s next step will be after five years.
