Thrissur: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan got angry with the questioner during the face-to-face program. The chief minister raised his tone on the question raised by lyricist Shibu Chakraborty about the quality of KR Narayanan Film Institute. Pinarayi Vijayan said that he should not criticize an institution, thinking that he had an opportunity to express his opinion.

The incident took place during the Chief Minister’s face-to-face program with cultural workers in Thrissur. The Chief Minister said that things should not be at a level where they can say anything if given a chance. The institute has some drawbacks. However, the Chief Minister replied that he should not belittle.

This is how an organization should be approached. You tried to send the message that children should not be sent there. It is an efficient organization. What a fallacy to say about that. The Chief Minister also pointed out that just because you have an opportunity to express an opinion, you should not say it in such a way as to criticize an institution.
