UK Professor Nitasha Kaul News: Indian-origin author and professor Nitasha Kaul was invited by the Government of Karnataka to participate in the Constitution and Unity Conference of India. Nitasha Kaul alleged that she was stopped from entering India by officials at the Bangalore International Airport. He claimed on X (formerly Twitter) that despite having the necessary documents, he was stopped at the airport based on orders from Delhi.

Nitasha Kaul accused the central government

Nitasha Kaul, an Indian-origin UK professor, alleged that she was barred from entering India because she had criticized the RSS. After this, many of her posts on social media platform X went viral, in which Nitasha Kaul was accused of spreading false information. Along with this, the decision to deny them entry to India was signed. Professor Nitasha Kaul alleged, “The only reason why the officials stopped me at the airport was that the order is from Delhi.”

He said, “All the arrangements along with my journey were made by the Karnataka government and I have their official letter. I did not receive any notice from Delhi before that I was allowed to enter India. Nahi di jaegi. I also had valid documents (UK passport and foreign nationals of India) with me.”

‘Many hours spent in immigration’

Professor Nitasha Kaul said, “I spent 12 hours on a flight from London to Bengaluru, several hours at immigration where they shuffled me around and gave me no information about the process.” He alleged that there was no flight back to London for the next 24 hours. Because of this, he spent 24 hours in a holding cell, where he had to make several calls to the airport for blankets and pillows. He said that she then took a 12-hour flight back to London from there.

He said, “I am not anti-India, I am anti-authority and pro-democracy.” He tagged Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Social Welfare Minister HC Mahadevappa, External Affairs Minister Jaishankar and External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal and asked how the world’s largest democracy can be threatened by my pen and words.

VHP targeted the Karnataka government

Karnataka VHP leader Girish Bharadwaj said, “It is a shame for the Siddaramaiah government to invite such an anti-national. Nitasha Kaul is talking nonsense against AAP and expecting us to give you a warm welcome?”
