Ankur Aggarwal, Jagran Dehradun: Uttarakhand Lok Sabha Election 2024: After about one and a half month of rush and chaos of elections, BJP candidate from Haridwar seat along with Mala Rajya Lakshmi Shah and Congress’s Jot Singh Gunsola are trying their luck on Tehri Garhwal parliamentary seat. Singh Rawat tried to overcome fatigue on Saturday.

Mala Rajya Lakshmi Shah

Mala Rajya Lakshmi Shah, BJP candidate from Tehri parliamentary seat, shed the election fatigue and started her day with prayers at her residence in Hathibarkala, Dehradun. Then spent some time with family members.

Mala Rajya Lakshmi had returned to Dehradun from Chakrata on Friday-Saturday midnight after voting. After this, Max went to the hospital to inquire about the condition of an acquaintance admitted there and came back to her residence. Jot Singh Gunsola

Congress candidate from Tehri parliamentary seat, Jot Singh Gunsola, started the morning by having breakfast with his family at his Mussoorie residence. A crowd of supporters gathered at his residence at eight in the morning. He took information about voting.

Confident of victory, Gunasola said that this election was between the people and the king, in which I am sure of victory. He said that this time the people of Tehri parliamentary constituency will get freedom from monarchy and the representative of the people will reach the Parliament.

After having breakfast at his residence, Gunsola left the city at 11:30 in the afternoon and sat in a hotel in Kuldi with City Congress President Amit Gupta and workers and brainstormed on the elections.

Claimed that he is likely to get good votes in all the areas including Tehri, Pratapnagar, Ghansali, Uttarkashi. Former councilor Darshan Rawat, Anand Panwar, CPI Secretary Devi Godiyal, Mukesh Juyal, Rajesh Mall etc. were present in the discussion.

Trivendra Singh Rawat

It was a busy morning for BJP candidate Trivendra Singh Rawat from Haridwar parliamentary seat. Actually, his internet media officer Subodh Bhandari’s father Kunwar Singh Bhandari had passed away. At eight in the morning, Trivendra first went to Subodh Bhandari’s residence in Nawada and consoled the bereaved family. After this, Kunwar Singh joined Bhandari’s last journey and went to Haridwar.

After the last rites there, Trivendra returned to Dehradun and after taking bath at his residence, went to see Chandrabhan Pal, an unwell worker at Resham Majri. He returned from there in the afternoon and then discussed the trends including the percentage of voting with the workers at his Defense Colony residence till late evening. Went out for a tour of the area late in the evening and discussed voting etc. with some prominent persons.
