After the murder of Congress councilor’s daughter, she wanted to end friendship with the boy, he ‘attacked’ her.

In Hubli, Karnataka, a youth has been arrested for assaulting a girl from another community. According to the girl, she wanted to end her friendship with a young man named Aftab after the murder of Neha, the daughter of a Karnataka Congress councillor. The girl told that after ending the friendship, Aftab had called her to return all the gifts given to her. When the girl went to return the gifts, Aftab allegedly attacked her.

After Neha’s murder, the girl talked about ending her friendship with Aftab. Aftab works as a fruit seller. The girl has alleged that Aftab was stalking her for two years. He had given her a bag and many other things as a gift.

According to the report the girl says,

“After the Neha murder case, I became suspicious of Aftab’s intentions. I asked him to end all relations between us. He asked me to return all the gifts. For this he called me to a public place. I returned the gifts to him. During this time he beat me, scolded me and hit me on the head with something heavy. Then they caught hold of me and the police. handed over to.”

The police have registered an FIR and arrested the accused Aftab. A case has been registered under IPC sections 321 (intentionally causing hurt), 354 (assault by a man on a woman), 504 (intentional insult) and section 506 (threats). Further investigation is going on in the matter.
