That worship has turned into a worship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Once that cult began to gain strength in India, it would pave the way for authoritarianism.
If Modi comes to power again for the 3rd term, the political system can be amended. In 10 years of Modi regime, freedom of speech and freedom of expression has been pushed to the bottom. So people should work together to restore democracy.
The Congress manifesto has various special features including employment generation. “Even though the Congress manifesto did not mention anything about the controversial Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), it will be repealed once the ‘India’ coalition comes to power,” she said.
