District Magistrate Namrata Vrishni has extended the order under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 for the next two months to prevent illegal entry and undesirable activities in the border areas in the district.Magistrate KAccording to the order, the period of Section 144 has been extended to prevent undesirable activities on the international border adjacent to the district. This will prevent illegal entry of smugglers, infiltrators and other anti-social elements near the border. It is suspected that the PCOs located at various places near the international border of the district may send important information to the people of the neighboring countries about the persons involved in criminal and undesirable activities. The network of mobile towers located in Pakistani territory near the border is now 3-4 kilometers inside the Indian border.

Restrictions in two km area:According to the order of District Magistrate Namrata Vrishni, the residents living in an area of ​​two kilometers from the India-Pakistan border in the district and persons entering and moving in that area have been directed. All areas under this, including Tehsil Khajuwala and village Ballar, Ghulam Aliwala, Siyasar Chaugan, Berianwali, Karamwala, Gajjewala, Ranjitpura, Sanchu, Annewala etc. of Bajju, in which movement from 7 pm to 6 am without valid permission, and others Activities will be strictly prohibited. Valid permission for necessary works in this area can be obtained from BSF and BOP. According to the order, action will be taken against the violators as per provisions of Indian Penal Code and procedure.

Keep a record of phone calls:Bajju, Poogal, Ranjitpura, Khajuwala and Chhatargarh areas of the district will keep records of international calls made to the code number 0092 (Telephone code number of Pakistan) by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited. Various authorities have been authorized to receive instructions from Bharat Sarkar Sanchar Nigam Limited to investigate incoming and outgoing calls on code number 0092.

This SIM upon document verification:In the border areas, the offices, authorized shops established by all the mobile companies, but before selling the new SIM, the complete identity proof from the user such as consumer application form, photo, ration card, Aadhaar card, voter card, copy of electricity and water bill. An order has been issued to match the signed copies with the original letters as necessary. Instructions are given to activate this SIM after user verification.

Verification of External Workers: Many workers in the district come to work from outside, the order said that it is necessary to inform the Border Security Force about the workers who have come from outside. All such persons must submit copy of original residence certificate, police character verification, identity card etc. to BSF, BOP and concerned police stations. It will be mandatory for such persons to carry their identity card with them.

If there is any notification or information of strategic importance, the group admin will be held directly responsible. In case of disobeying the order, the person concerned will be punished with simple imprisonment for one month and fine of Rs.200 under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.
