Heat wave alert in all districts of South Bengal including Kolkata till Saturday

Bengal Weather Forecast: According to Alipore Meteorological Department in West Bengal, heat wave situation has again arisen in Bengal from today i.e. Wednesday. severe weekend Heat (Summer) is expected. Heat wave warning in all districts of South Bengal including Kolkata. Extreme heat will continue to wreak havoc in the four districts of East and West Medinipur, West Burdwan and Bankura. There is a possibility of heavy rain in the western districts. Heat wave continues in northern districts also

While some areas of Darjeeling, Kalimpong and Jalpaiguri districts are likely to receive light rain on Thursday and Friday, other northern districts will also not be spared from the heat wave. Apart from Maldah, heat wave is expected in two districts of Dinajpur from Wednesday to Sunday. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of rain at present. Maximum temperature in Kolkata

There is a possibility of severe heat in Medinipur, Burdwan, North 24 Parganas, Bankura, Birbhum, Jhargram, Hooghly on Friday and Saturday. The Air Office has warned the people of those districts.
