Patna: Saurabh Kumar hails from Punpun, Bihar. He was the executive of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s United Janata Dal. In this case, Saurabh Kumar returned home on a two-wheeler with his friends after attending a wedding party in Patiyakol area next to Patna.
At that time, a mysterious gang of four people who were following Saurabh Kumar on two-wheelers opened fire suddenly. Saurabh Kumar was hit by 5 bullets and collapsed on the road. 3 bullets hit his body in front of him.
The two who fought for their lives were rescued by the people nearby and admitted to the hospital. The doctors who examined Saurabh Kumar said that he had already died. Meanwhile, he is undergoing intensive treatment in a critical condition.
While it is not known who fired at Saurabh Kumar, the police are actively searching for them. After examining the CCTV footage near the scene of the shooting incident, the police said that they are looking for clues about the killers.
