Muslim mob drives Dalit families out of village in Jharkhand: An atrocity has happened in Jharkhand. Dalit families living in the village for many years were driven out by a few Muslim mobs. 50 dalit families are forced to vacate the village and go to other areas. The incident took place in Jharkhand’s Palamu district. The police are investigating the case. Governor Ramesh Bais also reacted to this incident. Expressed concern over this incident. The governor’s office has directed the police to submit a report on the matter.
Presently, after receiving this information, Medininagar SDO and other police officers have reached Marumatu village and are reviewing the situation. Police are monitoring peace and security. Police said on Tuesday that they have registered a criminal case against 150 people including 12 people involved in the incident. Palamu Deputy Commissioner directed the police to nab the accused immediately. The police revealed that 50 families are being resettled in the same village in order of priority. All the victim families belong to ‘Mushar’ caste. Dalits who have been living in the village for almost four decades have now vacated the village.

Jitendra Mushar, one of the victims, said that we have been living together since the last decade.. but many people in Marumatu village forcibly evicted us on Monday and ordered us to leave. They alleged that if they approached the police, they were also attacked. Currently, the police are hunting for the accused involved in this incident.
