“No one stopped them from solving Pune’s problems”
Neelam Gorhe criticized that Pune has no guardian. Responding to him, Chandrakant Patil said, “Either Neelam Gorhe uses more of his powers as Speaker. It was not a problem for him to use it for Pune. Actually the Speaker should listen to everyone. But, the members talk more than the same. If the Speaker does not want to become the spokesperson of the party, he becomes the spokesperson of the party. No one was stopping them from solving Pune’s problems.”
“Let them list what they have done for Pune”
“There was a two-and-a-half-year government, not a little. Chandrakant Patal also demanded that he should give a list of what he did for Pune during that time.

“Nothing has stopped because there is no parent minister”
Chandrakant Patal also commented on the delay in the appointment of the Guardian Minister. He said, “Both of them did not stop taking decisions even when they were Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister. Later, the cabinet expanded and the devolution of accounts was delayed. Even after that no decision was stopped. I am not advocating not having a guardian minister, but nothing has stopped because there is no guardian minister. The Guardian Minister will also be appointed soon.”
