18 Percent More Than Average Rainfall In Maharashtra From June 1 To August 31

Maharashtra Rain : Maharashtra has received good rain so far. Pavasa has attended most of the districts of the state. The Meteorological Department has informed that from June 1 to August 31, the state received 18 percent more rain than normal. Meteorological department has informed that there has been good rain in entire Maharashtra except Sangli district. The highest rainfall has occurred in Nashik and Wardha districts. 53 percent more than the average rainfall has been recorded there.

Maharashtra recorded 957 mm rainfall till August 31

The weather department has given the information about the rainfall in Maharashtra so far. So far, the state has recorded more than average rainfall. The data from June 1 to August 31 has been released by the Meteorological Department. It has been said that there has been 18 percent more rain than the average. Every year till August 31, 814 mm of rain is received in Maharashtra, however, actually 957 mm of rain has been recorded this year, according to the Meteorological Department.

East Vidarbha also received more than average rainfall, while Mumbai received 15 percent less than average rainfall

Except for Sangli district of the state, the entire Maharashtra has received good rains. Sangli has received 21 percent less rainfall than the average. The highest rainfall has occurred in Nashik and Wardha districts. Nashik and Wardha districts have recorded 53 percent more than average rainfall. After that, Nanded has received 50 percent more rain than the average and Nagpur has reported 47 percent more rain than the average, the Meteorological Department has informed. Meanwhile, East Vidarbha has received above average rainfall. Gondia, Bhandara, Gadchiroli, Chandrapur have recorded 30 percent more than average rainfall. Konkan and Marathwada also recorded satisfactory rainfall. However, Mumbai city has received 15 percent less rainfall than the average. Still satisfactory rainfall has been recorded. The weather department has informed that there has been 30 percent more rain than the average in Pune and Palghar.
